Installation Notes
This Glock FRT is not a true drop-in kit and may require fitting, tuning, or light filing for optimal function. Some builds benefit from a 20 lb or heavier recoil spring. A 3.5 lb trigger kit with connector can further enhance reset feel. An installation video is available upon request.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does this fit a Glock 19?
Yes. The Glock FRT Gen 1-6 fits all standard Glock Gen 1 through Gen 6 frames including the G17, G19, G26, G34, G43, and G48.
What’s the difference between black and red Cerakote?
Purely cosmetic. Both finishes offer the same corrosion and wear resistance. Choose the color that matches your build.
Is a gunsmith required?
Professional installation is strongly recommended. Some fitting and minor adjustments are normal for optimal function.
Does it work on Gen 5?
Yes, but you must replace the factory ambidextrous slide release with a Gen 4 slide release before installation.
